A Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Expo

featuring Actual and Virtual solar tours.

Saturday, August 8th     

9am-4pm  at CSU-Pueblo



SE-CRES is developing a very special event to showcase Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency encouraging businesses and residents to better understand and adopt the technology in existing and new buildings and transportation.  

CSU-Pueblo and SE-CRES will host the free-to-the-public event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2009 on the CSU-Pueblo Campus.

The day will include a ‘virtual’ Solar Tour and other presentations in the Life Sciences auditorium along with actual tours of nearby solar sites, including the 1.2 Mw campus installation.  Attendees will experience a significant hands-on EXPO area with solar and wind installers, hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as, green building and weatherization information.  Talking with home and business owners who are succeeding with renewable energy will highlight the day.

Non-profit organizations and government agencies will be available with energy efficiency and renewable energy information.

How are the solar and wind installers selected to participate? I’m a licensed solar installer in PPRBD and Pueblo RBD, and primarily do solar hot water systems.
